  2. One-Time Registration (OTR) : Click on "Sign Up" or "Login/Signup" to create a user profile with personal details, mobile number, and email ID.
  3. Find the Advertisement : Locate the "HPRCA PGT Recruitment 2026" (Advt. No. 07/2026, 08/2026, or 09/2026) in the active advertisements list.
  4. Fill Application Form : Select the desired PGT post, select your exam center district, and fill in academic/personal details accurately, ensuring they match your matriculation certificate.
  5. Upload Documents : Scan and upload your recent photograph, signature, and necessary certificates (educational, category/Himachali Bonafide if applicable).
  6. Pay Application Fee : Submit the application fee of ₹800 (generally ₹100 exam fee + ₹700 processing fee) using credit card, debit card, or net banking.
  7. Submit and Print : Submit the final form and download/print the application for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Computer Based Test (CBT) / OMR Screening Test (120 Marks) : Candidates must appear for an objective-type exam (120 MCQs, 1.5 hours) covering subject-specific topics (PG level) and general studies (HP GK, Current Affairs, English, Hindi, Reasoning).
  • Minimum Qualifying Criteria : Candidates must achieve at least 45% (General) or 40% (Reserved) to qualify. If not met, these may be relaxed by 5%.
  • Normalization of Scores : For exams held across multiple shifts, normalization (Z-score method) will be used to ensure fairness.
  • Merit List Formulation : A merit list is created based on the CBT score, then Document Verification (DV) is scheduled, likely inviting 10-25% extra candidates over the 808 posts.
  • Document Verification : Finalists must produce original certificates (Matric to PG, B.Ed., HP bonafide/EWS) for verification.
