How to Apply
Register : Go to iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in and sign up using an active email ID and mobile number to receive OTPs. Fill Form : Log in, click "Apply Online", and enter personal/educational details carefully. Upload Documents : Upload a recent passport photo (with white background, holding a black slate with name/date in white chalk), signature, and left thumb impression (10-50 KB, .jpg format). Pay Fee : Pay the ₹550 + GST application fee via the online portal. Submit & Print : Submit the application and print the form for future reference.
Selection Process
Phase - I : Online Test (30-31 March 2026) Subjects : English (10+2 syllabus) and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). Duration : 45 Minutes. Marking : +1 for correct, -0.25 for incorrect, 0 for unattempted. Result : Normalised marks are used, and a merit list for Phase II is prepared. Phase - II : PFT, Adaptability Tests & Document Verification Document Verification : All original educational certificates, mark sheets, and documents are checked. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) : Candidates must complete a 1.6 Km run within 7 minutes (up to 21 years) or 7 minutes 30 Seconds (above 21 years), along with 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats. Adaptability Test-I : Objective written test checking adaptability to IAF operational conditions. Adaptability Test-II : Assesses suitability for military life, discipline, and environment. Phase - III : Medical Examination Conducted by the Air Force Medical Team at designated centres. Includes Blood Hemogram, Urine Test, Biochemistry, Chest X-ray, and ECG. Candidates deemed unfit can appeal for an Appeal Medical Board (AMB) within 3 days.
