How to Apply

Download Application Form : Obtain the application form from the official notification available on the Hisar District Court website.
Fill Details : Fill in the application form carefully with necessary academic and personal details.
Attach Documents : Attach self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates (Bachelor’s degree), date of birth proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents.
Submit Application : Send the completed application form via registered post or submit it by hand to: Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Hisar, Haryana.
Deadline : Ensure the application reaches the office by 20 January 2026.

Selection Process

For the Post of Stenographer Grade-III (English)

Candidates must qualify the following stages:

English Shorthand Test : Candidates must demonstrate a speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m.).
Transcription Test : The shorthand notes must be transcribed on a computer at a speed of 20 w.p.m..
Computer Proficiency Test : Candidates are also required to qualify a proficiency test in operation of computers (typically covering word processing and spreadsheets).
- Note : This test is only qualifying in nature, meaning marks obtained here are not counted toward the final merit list.

For the Post of Clerk

The selection is based on a written exam followed by technical skill tests:

Written Examination : Consists of two subjects, each worth 50 marks:
1. English Composition (50 marks)
2. General Knowledge (50 marks)
Qualifying Marks : Candidates must obtain at least 33% in each subject and a minimum of 40% in aggregate to be considered for the next stage.
Computer Typing Test : Qualifying candidates from the written test must pass an English typing test on a computer at a speed of 30 w.p.m..
Computer Proficiency Test : Similar to the Stenographer post, this test is qualifying in nature and does not contribute to the final merit marks.
