Selection Process
Stage I : Preliminary Exam (Screening Test) : Consists of two papers (General Studies and CSAT), both objective type (MCQs). Prelims is qualifying in nature, intended to select candidates for the Mains. Usually held in two shifts on the same day. Stage II : Main Exam (Descriptive) : Candidates clearing the Prelims cutoff qualify for the Main Exam. Consists of written, descriptive-type papers. Stage III : Interview : Candidates clearing the Mains are called for a final interview/personality test.
