Selection Process
Stage 1 : CET Phase-I (Preliminary) : Candidates must have qualified the Common Eligibility Test (CET) to be eligible. Stage 2 : Shortlisting : HSSC shortlists candidates based on CET scores, typically up to 10 times the number of vacancies per post. Stage 3 : Written Examination (Mains) : An offline (OMR-based) exam with 100 questions (70% subject-related, 20% General Awareness, 10% Computer Knowledge). Stage 4 : Skill/Physical Test : Required for specific posts (e.g., stenography, computer proficiency). Stage 5 : Document Verification (DV) : Original documents are checked against uploaded documents. Stage 6 : Final Merit List : Prepared based on written exam scores and applicable socio-economic criteria.
