Registration : Visit the official NCET website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCET/ or www.nta.ac.in. Click on the "Registration" link, read instructions, and generate a login ID and password.

Fill Application : Log in using the system-generated application number and password to complete the detailed application form, including personal details, education background, and university/programme preferences.

Upload Documents : Upload scanned images of a recent photograph, signature, and necessary certificates (like Category, Disability, or Identification Proof).

Select Exam City : Choose up to four preferred examination cities.

Pay Fee : Pay the required fee (General: 1200, OBC-NCL/EWS: 1000, SC/ST/PwD: 650) online via net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

Submit & Print : Review all details thoroughly before final submission, then download, save, and print the confirmation page.

Selection Process

CBT Exam : Candidates appear for the NCET 2026 exam.

Result & Scorecard : NTA declares the results and releases scorecards.

Counselling : Participating institutions (Central/State Universities, IITs, NITs, RIEs) conduct separate counselling based on NCET scores.
