Selection Process

Core Selection Stages
  • Application Scrutiny : The bank first reviews all submitted applications based on eligibility criteria, qualifications, and relevant work experience.

  • Online Test : Depending on the bank's requirement, an online examination may be conductedCandidates must achieve a minimum score in each section and a minimum total score to proceed.

  • Psychometric Assessment : This test is used to evaluate personality traits, communication levels, clarity, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Personal Interview (PI) : Candidates who are shortlisted from the online test or initial screening are called for an interview.

    • Qualifying Marks for PI : The minimum qualifying score is 60% for Unreserved (UR) candidates and 55% for Reserved category candidates.

    • Failure to Clear PI : Candidates who do not meet these minimum qualifying marks will not be considered for final selection.

Final Merit List and Allotment
  • Combined Scoring : The final scores are calculated based on performance in the online test, personal interview, and any other used assessment methods.

  • Merit Ranking : In instances where multiple candidates secure the same cutoff marks, they are ranked according to age in descending order (older candidates are ranked higher).

  • Final Allotment : Subject to the availability of vacancies in each category, only those who pass all stages and rank high enough on the merit list will be offered employment.
