Class	Eligibility
KVS Class 1	For Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) Class 1 admission 2026-27, children must be 06 to 08 years old as of March 31, 2026, to be eligible. Children born on April 1, 2020, or earlier are considered. A two-year age relaxation for the maximum age limit applies to children with special needs.
How to Apply
Visit the Portal : Go to the official KVS online admission portal (admission.kvs.gov.in). New Registration : Click on "Register" to create an account using the child's name, DOB, and email/mobile number. Verify via OTP : Verify your mobile number using the OTP received. Fill Application Form : Complete all 8 sections (basic information, parent details, school choices, etc.). Select Schools : Choose up to three KV schools in order of preference. Upload Documents : Scan and upload the child's birth certificate and photograph. Submit & Save : Review the form, submit it, and download/print the application submission code.
