How to Apply

1. Visit the Portal : Go to the official Directorate of Elementary Education Haryana website.
2. Registration : Register using the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) and child's Aadhaar card.
3. Fill Application : Enter student details and select preferred schools within a 0–1 KM or 1–3 KM radius of residence.
4. Upload Documents : Upload necessary documents (Income certificate, residence proof, child's photo).
5. Submit & Track : Submit the form and save a copy for tracking lottery results.

Selection Process

1. Online Registration : Parents must register on the UJJWAL/RTE portal (often hosted on harprathmik.gov.in) using the child’s Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP).
2. Eligibility Verification : The applicant must be a resident of Haryana, with EWS/DG category status, and a family income below ₹1.80 Lakh per annum.
3. School Selection : Parents choose schools within the designated radius (0–1 KM or 1–3 KM).
4. Document Submission : Upload necessary documents (Age proof, residence proof, Category certificate).
5. Computerized Lottery/Draw : If applicants exceed available seats, a computerized lottery is conducted by the Education Department.
6. Document Verification : Provisional selection is followed by physical document verification at the allotted school.
7. Final Admission : Successful applicants must report to the school within the stipulated time limit (typically 5 days) for final admission.
