How to Apply
Official Portal : Go to the official Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission website: www.sssc.uk.gov.in. Registration : Register using your Aadhaar number to generate an OTP. Fill Form : Click on "Apply Here" for the Driver post and complete the online application with personal, educational, and license details. Upload Documents : Upload scanned copies of your 8th-grade mark sheet, valid Driving License (both sides), category certificate (if applicable), photo, signature, and left-thumb impression. Fee Payment : Pay the application fee online. Submit & Print : Submit the final application and print a copy for future reference.
Selection Process
Stage 1 : Written Examination (25 Marks) : Objective-type questions (MCQs) focusing on traffic rules, road safety, and basic vehicle maintenance. Stage 2 : Practical Driving Test (75 Marks) : Candidates, usually up to 6 times the number of vacancies, are called for this test based on written exam scores. Final Merit : Based on the combined score of the written test and the driving test. Other Stages : Candidates must also complete document verification and a medical examination.
