  • Open to Female Candidates only. Must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (55% for Gen/OBC, 50% for SC/ST).

B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic)

  • Requires 10+2 and a Diploma in GNM, plus registration as a Nurse/Midwife.

B.Sc (Paramedical Course)

  • Open to both male and female candidates. Requires 10+2 with PCB or PCM (depending on the course) and 50% aggregate marks.

How to Apply

Applying for AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing or Allied Health courses follows a unique PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) process. This is designed to be a "one-time registration" where your basic details are stored for future attempts.

Here are the single-line steps for the entire application process:

Stage 1: Basic Registration (PAAR)
  • Step 1 : Visit the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in and select "Undergraduate Courses."

  • Step 2 : Click on "Click here for New Basic Registration" to begin your profile creation.

  • Step 3 : Enter personal details including full name, father's name, date of birth, and category.

  • Step 4 : Provide a valid email ID and mobile number to receive your Registration ID and Password.

  • Step 5 : Log in with your new credentials to upload a scanned passport-size photo (white background).

  • Step 6 : Upload your scanned signature and left-hand thumb impression according to the specified file sizes.

  • Step 7 : Submit the basic form and wait for the "Acceptance/Rejection" status update on the portal.

Stage 2 : Generation of RUC (Registration Unique Code)
  • Step 8 : Log in again once your Basic Registration is marked as "Accepted."

  • Step 9 : Click on the "Generate Registration Unique Code (RUC)" link on the dashboard.

  • Step 10 : Select the specific course (e.g., B.Sc. Hons. Nursing or Allied Health) for which you are applying.

  • Step 11 : Note down the generated RUC; you cannot proceed to final registration without this code.

Stage 3 : Final Registration
  • Step 12 : Log in using your Registration ID, RUC, and Password.

  • Step 13 : Fill in your educational qualification details (Class 12th marks, board, and roll number).

  • Step 14 : For B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic), enter your GNM diploma and RN/RM registration details.

  • Step 15 : Choose your preferred Examination City from the available list of centers.

  • Step 16 : Pay the application fee (₹2,000 for Gen/OBC; ₹1,600 for SC/ST/EWS) via Net Banking or Debit/Credit card.

  • Step 17 : Review all entered information one last time, as edits are not allowed after final submission.

  • Step 18 : Submit the form and print the Registration Slip for your records and future counseling. 

Selection Process

  • 1. Online Registration (Basic) : Candidates must register on the AIIMS official website with personal details and upload images.
  • 2. RUC Generation : Candidates must generate a Registration Unique Code (RUC) to proceed to final registration.
  • 3. Final Registration & Fee Payment : Candidates fill academic details, select exam cities, and pay the fee (approx. INR 2,000 for Gen/OBC).
  • 4. Admit Card : Candidates must download the admit card from the website.
  • 5. Entrance Examination (CBT) :
    • B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing : June 27, 2026.
    • B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) : May 30, 2026.
    • B.Sc. (Allied) : July 4, 2026.
  • 6. Result and Merit List : Results are released in a merit list format based on the CBT score.
  • 7. Counselling & Seat Allocation : Qualified candidates participate in online seat allocation.
