How to Apply

Candidate Login : Use your PET 2025 Registration Number to log in via the "Candidate Dashboard" using either an OTP or your personal details. Access Application : Locate the link for "Assistant Boring Technician Advt. No. 04-Exam/2026" and click on the "Apply" button. Verify Information : Review your pre-filled personal and educational data from your PET profile and add any required technical details (ITI/Apprenticeship). Upload Media : Verify or re-upload your scanned photograph and signature if prompted (must follow official size/format). Submit Declaration : Read the declaration carefully and click on the "I Agree" checkbox to proceed. Pay Processing Fee : Pay the mandatory ₹25 online processing fee using SBI I-Collect (Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI). Selection Process
PET Score Shortlisting : Candidates are first shortlisted based on their normalized scores from the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. Main Written Examination : Shortlisted candidates must appear for a written exam consisting of 120 objective-type questions (covering General Hindi, GK, Reasoning, and Technical Trade knowledge) to be completed in 2 hours. Minimum Qualifying Criteria : Candidates must achieve the required cutoff marks in the Main exam; note that there is a negative marking of 1/4th (0.25) for every wrong answer. Document Verification : Those who pass the written exam are called to present their original educational, ITI, and category certificates for verification. Medical Examination : A medical fitness test is conducted to ensure candidates meet the physical standards required for the role. Final Merit List : The final selection is based on the marks obtained in the Main Written Examination and successful completion of all verification stages.
